The textile industry is advancing towards greater transparency, circularity, and responsible chemical management. Digital tools have an important role to play in this transition, helping businesses access relevant information, improve the traceability of chemical products, and prepare for evolving regulatory requirements.
Within the Interreg ECHT project, partners are developing practical digital solutions to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the textile value chain. These include the ECHT Knowledge Platform, which brings together scientific, practical, and regulatory resources, as well as a multilingual AI-based assistant designed to help users find reliable, source-based information.
By combining trustworthy AI, open-source technologies, and European collaboration, the project aims to facilitate the sector’s move towards more transparent and circular practices.
