As a continuation of the series of conferences entitled “Re-source - Resource Conservation - From Idea to Action”, the environmental ministries and environmental federal offices of Austria, Switzerland and Germany will organise the next symposium in Frankfurt am Main on 15 and 16 May 2025.
The series of conferences focuses on the cross-border exchange of experience on topics in the areas of resource conservation and the circular economy. In particular, the focus is on the further development of waste management into a resource-conserving materials flow economy.
In 2025, circular approaches to the construction and use of wood and textiles, as well as concepts and practical examples for promoting sustainable living and consumption patterns will be addressed.
In particular, the Block 4 of the conference, Circular instead of fast fashion – the future of textiles, will present important cornerstones of a sustainable and circular textile value chain. Current consumption habits, the requirements for the eco-design of textiles and the possibilities regarding recycling will be discussed in the individual lectures.
