Save the date – Final ECHT Dissemination Event

12 November 2026

The ECHT project consortium is pleased to announce its final dissemination event, taking place on 12 November 2026 from 9:30 to 17:00 CET at the Bundespresseamt Besucherzentrum in Berlin, Germany. The event will mark the conclusion of the Interreg North-West Europe funded ECHT project (2024–2026), dedicated to advancing chemical traceability and supporting the transition towards a circular economy in the textile sector.

Over the past three years, the ECHT project has focused on one of the key challenges linked to the future implementation of the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and Digital Product Passports (DPPs): enabling reliable access to material and chemical composition data across textile value chains, especially for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The event will present the main outcomes of the project, including the ECHT traceability strategy, action plans for clothing and flooring value chains, practical tools and templates developed through the project’s capacity-building programme, and the ECHT Knowledge Platform. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend applied training sessions showcasing practical tools designed for industry and policy implementation.

In addition, related research initiatives will share complementary perspectives and innovations, while a dedicated panel discussion will explore the future of chemical traceability and Digital Product Passports beyond the ECHT project. Discussions will address upcoming regulatory developments, implementation challenges, and future research and policy priorities.

The event is aimed at industry professionals, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders involved in textile and circular economy value chains across North-West Europe and beyond. A networking reception will conclude the day and offer participants an opportunity to continue discussions and build new collaborations.
